Refund & exchange policy:
All full priced items can be returned or exchanged within 2 days from date of purchase.
Exchange: The item/s should be of the same or higher value.
Goods can only be returned to/exchanged at the original store, i.e the place of purchase.
Goods being returned/exchanged must be in showroom condition or they will not be accepted.
We do not offer over the counter refunds.
We do not offer refund/exchange on sale or discounted items.
All refunds will be processed through the Head Office in which case a refund cheque will be processed as soon
as possible but in some cases may take up to 21 working days.
Policy regarding faulty & Damaged Items:
If an item does not perform to your satisfaction,
please contact the store from where you originally
purchased the item as soon as possible.
If the matter can't be resolved over the phone, you
may have to bring and leave the item at the store where
you originally purchased it from.
The store will then forward the item to the Head office
or the supplier for inspection. The entire process may take up to two weeks.
If the item is found to
be faulty, the customer can choose to get the item repaired, replaced or refunded.
The Company shall not be held liable to pay for damages caused by the faulty item.
Goods on Approval :
Proof of identification and security (signed credit
card charge slip) for the full value of the goods must
be left.
No fees or charges are applied if goods are returned
within the required time-frame and in showroom
condition.
Goods on Approval is only available to personal
shoppers.
Unwanted goods must be returned within 48 hours
unless expressly and previously agreed otherwise by
Mayne Rugs.
Unwanted goods must be returned in showroom
condition or they will not be accepted and the goods
will be charged at full retail value.
Unwanted goods must be returned to the original
retail store.
Processed Goods on Approval transactions are not
refundable.
Lay-bys :
A minimum deposit of 20% of the total purchase price
is required to begin a Lay-by.
Only item/s over the value of $100 can be put on
Lay-by.
Payments are to be made fortnightly.
A Lay-by time-frame limit of 12 weeks applies. At
Mayne Rugs' discretion, time-frame limit may be extended
if requested at the time of commitment. Mayne Rugs
reserves the right to cancel the Lay-by if it does not
get finalised with the specified time-frame.
Failure to comply payments in the specified time
makes the goods and the 20% deposit liable for
forfeiture.
Lay-by items cannot be exchanged or refunded for the
change of mind after the Lay-by has been finalised and
collected.
A 20% administration fee applies to all cancelled
Lay-bys.
Rugs, Runners, Cushions & Flooring Sales Order
Deposits :
Deposit paid for goods which are available and in
stock are not refundable.
A minimum of 20% deposit is required to generate a
Sales Orders for items that do not require any
alteration or modification.
A minimum of 50% deposit is required for special
orders, runners and/or any such item that requires
alteration or modification.
Sales Order Deposits on special orders, runners and
other goods requiring alteration or modification are non
refundable once work has commenced.
At Mayne Rugs discretion, Credit Notes may be issued
against cancelled Sales Orders, in which case any
expenses incurred will be withheld.
A Sales Order time-frame limit of 1 month applies.
At Mayne Rugs' discretion, time-frame limit may be
extended if requested at the time of commitment.
